Welcome to Vurritos Locos

800 Forrest St NW Suite 3, Atlanta, GA 30318, United States

General Info

Tucked into Atlanta’s west side at 800 Forrest St NW Suite 3, Vurritos Locos brings bold comfort flavors together in a way that feels both familiar and exciting. This is the kind of restaurant you walk into once and immediately understand the vibe-casual, welcoming, and centered around food that’s made to satisfy real cravings. Whether you’re stopping by for dinner or easing into dessert after a long day, the experience feels relaxed and genuine.

The menu leans heavily into hearty, well-seasoned dishes that don’t cut corners. One of the standout plates features tender pulled pork that’s rich and slow-cooked, paired perfectly with classic sides like cabbage and collard greens. These greens aren’t just fillers-they’re full of depth, cooked down for flavor, and balanced in a way that complements the mains. It’s comfort food that feels intentional, not rushed.

Another crowd favorite is the chicken wings with fries. The wings come out hot, flavorful, and generously portioned, while the fries are crisp enough to hold their own alongside the saucy goodness. Then there’s the oxtail chimichanga plate, which really sets this location apart. It’s bold, filling, and layered with textures that make every bite feel like something special. Dishes like this are why reviews often highlight how memorable the food feels long after the meal is done.

What also stands out is how inclusive the menu is. Vegan options are available, making it easy for different diets to enjoy the same table without compromise. That flexibility adds to the laid-back atmosphere and makes the restaurant a comfortable choice for groups. Payment is simple with debit cards accepted, and the overall setup keeps things easygoing without sacrificing quality.

From the food to the service, everything works together to create an experience that feels authentic. The location is easy to find, the menu is approachable yet bold, and the atmosphere encourages you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Whether you’re a local or just exploring Atlanta’s dining scene, this spot fits naturally into any list of places worth revisiting.

What customers say?

“ Ya know, it was confusing at 1st. I thought I found this Jamaican spot that was the only late night food available. I pull up to find this industrial building with all these cars around it and a few people coming in and out. Turns out there are a ton of restaurants in one place. I ended up getting ramen instead at lower cost than those highly priced Jamaican meals. You place the order via one of the online services or the kiosks they have indoors. Your order appears in a locker and they notify you on which locker it is when your food is ready. It was easy and the food was great. What a gem ”

“ This was my first experience ordering here and I must say it was amazing!! The variety, ease of ordering, and overall convenience prompted my 5/5 ⭐ review. I will definitely be ordering from here again. I ordered from Atlanta Turkey Legs and got the Southern Cornbread Bowl with Turkey. The taste was amazing, so many flavor combinations to tickle your palate! The portion, quality, and overall taste is well worth the money. Oh yea, this is definitely more than enough for two people to feast off of!! Enjoy!! ”

“ We ordered from Jerk cuisine. The food was hot and fresh; took about 10 -15 mins to receive the order. We got a small curry goat and oxtail plate. The food was amazing!!! The cabbage is cooked hard not soft, so not the typical cabbage. The Mac n cheese is a bite different as well but tasty. The yams were very good. Overall We enjoyed the entire meal and will be back . ”

“ Wow such a cool experience of eating!!! I was able to eat from multiple restaurant options right from the same place at almost 2:00 am this concept is so innovative and amazing!! Walked in and couldn’t believe this type of place exist!!!!! My food was delicious thanks so much for the service!! ”

“ I thought it was a sit down restaurant so I was a little disappointed it was carryout only. I only had a serving of pasta, but there was plenty of turkey. The food was delectable. Turkey leg meat was falling off the bone. The fettuccine was tender & the collard greens has just the right amount of spice. The Southern Cornbread Bowl was a smorgasbord of deliciousness. ”

“ I ordered from the new concept Cornbread and Kimchi by Chef Lamara Davidson on Uber Eats! To say the food was amazing was an understatement! I have ordered three more times since then. You have to try the Bi Bim Bop...which is a Korean rice bowl. I like to add Bulgogi Beef to mine, but other protein options are available. Also the fried mac and cheese balls are mouth watering!! You have to try this hidden gem!! ”

“ I didn’t realize this place was a “ghost kitchen” and not a sit down restaurant but I enjoyed the food and experience none the less. I ordered from Planted Soul at the kiosk. I got the buffalo chik’n wrap, Mac n cheese and cornbread for $28 including the tip. Their menu is all vegan and the food was really good. The wrap was okay (a bit overpriced for the ingredients used) but the Mac n cheese and cornbread were GREAT. I would definitely come here again. ”
